Responsibilities include: Performing data analysis, both qualitative and quantitative; drafting project progress reports; preparing manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals; and developing funding proposals. In addition, the appointee is expected to contribute to the Centre’s teaching and learning initiatives as well as its public engagement activities.

The appointee is expected to play a key role in implementing the Centre's research programme, which examines salient public policy matters in the urban water sector. He/She will work closely with the Centre's Executive Director and a team of investigators drawn from the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Social Sciences. Nonetheless, he/she will carry out research tasks on the said topic in an independent manner.

The appointment will commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
