Dr. Frederick Lee, Executive Director of the Water Centre, recently delivered a talk entitled “An Inconvenient Truth,” which was borrowed from Al Gore’s 2006 documentary. This event was part of a capacity-building programme for The Green Earth, an environmental NGO. At this talk, Dr. Lee shared with the audience some important research findings made by the Water Centre on water sustainability issues in Hong Kong. His talk contained one key message: Hong Kong has become a water-surplus city since 1994.
